We use advanced computer vision to derive body position and movement from the camera in the patient's own phone — down to individual joints and movement patterns — translating raw video into precise movement data without suits, sensors, or specialized hardware.
Processing is efficient and privacy-friendly: movement data — not raw video — is analyzed and processed through the system. This makes the solution fast, scalable, and easy to integrate into environments with strict data security requirements.
Why not ChatGPT or Claude? General language models are built for breadth, not clinical precision. They hallucinate, their output is non-reproducible, and their training data is neither curated nor traceable to clinical evidence. That is unacceptable in a medical instrument. SCANETO therefore operates in a controlled, closed AI environment on IBM watsonx — featuring curated clinical datasets, deterministic output, and full traceability.
